SITING
One of the most critical aspects of project planning is the selection of a site
that includes all essential technical features and that can be successfully permitted.
Black & Veatch’s multidisciplinary team of engineers, environmental scientists
and regulatory specialists use an effective siting methodology that includes consideration
of technical, physical environmental, regulatory, and economic criteria to identify
and evaluate sites or routes for proposed development. Our phased approach to site
selection profiles, assesses and ranks sites or routes for proposed utility or industrial
development. To enhance this process, Black & Veatch can perform a permitting assessment
to determine the feasibility and appropriateness of a site with respect to impacts
on the environment and on project schedule and costs.
